Update: Janice's Health

A couple of weeks ago, I delivered some sad news, Janice (my camera), had got into a really bad accident. Doctors/Technicians have had her in ICU for about a month now. They say, she will need brain surgery in order to recover. They say her memory[card] has gone bad and she can't retain information. Her surgery is to take place this weekend. Again, please keep her in your prayers.

THANKS!

This is what they'll be adding to her, hoping that she comes back strong.

You've Got (FAN) Mail!

Having people appreicate you, is always a great feeling, but having about all of the world love you, might be a lil' too much...just my opinion

So this kid, Justin Bieber, I think its more than safe to assume you know who he is, (like him or not) EVERYDAY, gets crates upon crates of fan mail, from fans all over the world. Some of them are heartfelt, some of them are crazed and a lot of them are just WEIRD! Today, July 29th, I think topped all crazed and weird fan mail!

No W O R D S!

(what I want to know is... how old is this girl/woman?)

...then theres the fans that just want to give him all they got, because they really like him..

Then theres the other 98 million, that just want an autographed picture...well, then again, I really don't know...

Big S/O to Genevieve for having to sift through all of that mayhem...

MIHicon Annual Prospect Park BBQ

For the last nine years, only two of which I've attended, a group called MIHicon, hosts an annual picnic in prospect park. For any of you that know Prospect park, you know that it covers a LOT of ground! Being that the park is about a good 15-20 minute walk from home, I decided to walk (major fail). See...I forgot to take into account that it was 98 degrees w/ 110 humidity level. Some 25 minutes later, sweating profusely, I arrived at the park, only to realize that I was on the WRONG FUCKING side! After about a quarter of a mile walk on the main road, down a path, down a hill, through an overpass, across a stone bridge and past the boat houses, there it was, NIGGA FEST the picnic! Last year it was on the Grand Army Plaza side (the nice side), now this year, not only did they (whoever) move it, they stuck it smack dab in the middle of the park, tucked and away from any main trails or civilization for that matter.

After about 5 minutes of acting like I knew where I was going, once inside the park, phone to sweaty face and all, I found people I knew. Uneasy around large hordes of people, I soon found more friends and made my way up to a shaded hill w/ food, drinks, liq's and BROWNIES, as I watched the coonery take place below!

Fucked up in the game, without Janice (my camera), I found a new bitch, a Jop-pan-knees joint, named Fuji, who not only takes pictures, but produces them too! With limited exposures I had no times for fuck ups...Just point and shoot!
Despite sweating like an obese slave, having to walk a quarter of a mile and through fern & gully paths, it was all worth it! There's no place like BROOKLYN!!!

Yup...Another One!!!

Birthdays...

Birthdays for me, have always been a day I look forward to, for obvious reasons, but when its finally here, I cringe at all the attention and excitement that comes with it, although a couple of friends may say different

Yesterday, July 14th, I turned __ and as soon as 12:00am hit, the birthday love (and I say love, cuz' I really felt loved) began to flow, and in abundance, from Facebook, Twitter, SMS Texts, BBM's and Phone calls. Later that day, in helping me celebrate my birthday, my Island Def Jam fam-a-lam threw me a "Surprise" Birthday celebration. Complete w/ Gummy bears (this by itself could of been my cake and I would of been content), cake, Rosé, pizza from Angelos (crack), a customized card, a more than appropriate playlist and a host of co-workers, some of which I think just wanted pizza- All good though, made it worth while. I will say though, that I appreciate all for coming out and appreciating me and my pizza, even if it was really just for the pizza LOL.

I'm not one to brag or anything, but I think my b'day celebration took the cake (no pun intended). For those, that wished me a Happy Birthday on Facebook and Twitter and I wasn't able to respond, know that I REALLY REALLY appreciate all of you,

THANKS guys!!!

Gummy Bears- I swear this was 155% bettet than any cake!!!

"I Think I'm..." Rus Azal

Often times, people that work within the music industry and related fields become complacent, bored and often get caught up in the bullshit that has become the music industry, but for others like myself, when music is the driving force behind their motivation, it makes it all worth while!!!

My Studio 54

Every generation, in NYC, to me has an ultimate IT club, where the who's who of time go to live and enjoy life. Back in the 70's and early 80's it was Studio 54, in the early 90s it was The Tunnel, mid-late 90s Club Speed and Exit where the place to be...now, following its predecessors, Santos is no different. If any the only difference is that its a more care-free eclectic crowd. If I wanted to, I could go in basket ball shorts and a tank top, i don't recommend it, but you get my gist.
