Documentary-The Beast

A while back, in March, friends Natalie and Adrienne approached me about possibly doing a candid testimonial on street wear documentary, The Beast. I was told that it would be a one-on-one interview about trends, influences, what street wear means to me and how it affects me. Extremely interested in I Said yea. A couple months passed and I got the call from Nat and Adrienne, saying that they were ready...so one humid Friday night in May, we met at what was, most, convenient for us all. The outcome, a park on Prince and Thompson.

After being mic'ed up, dried off (from excessive perspiration) and giving a quick synopsis of the questions to be asked. I was ready and raring to go.

Without revealing too much, I will say that after talking candidly, I got to further examine why I do the things I do, my influences and e everything far and in-between.

The Many (Bearded) Faces of Rus Azal

In wanting to try something different, in November of 08', I began growing my beard, or bathroom rug as I've recently started to call it. In the time lapsed, its gone through a couple of different fazes. Bushy, Non-connecting, 5 o'clock shadowish, the Flo-rida and a couple of others that escape me at the moment.

I'm Back!!!

Having been out of the blogshpere for quite a while, I felt that it was most appropriate for me to jump back in, as last week marked the beginning of summer. Usually my summers are very eventful. Whether its a couple/few weekly, summer, party's or just some real random shit, like me on a boat eating monk fritters while en route to cape cod, I try and let you guys in and experience the fun, excitement and craziness that is my life. So sit back, fuck a seat belt and enjoy the fun that is Rus Azal.
